VIENNOS

Viennos borrows its name from two places at once. Vienna, home of the Wiener Werkstätte and its love of the grid, the circle, and geometry as ornament. And the klismos, the low, curved Greek chair form that has outlasted every style movement since antiquity.

The klismos gives Viennos its shape: a confident curved back, a splayed leg, a form built for the body. Vienna gives it its voice: fine brass linework tracing circles and rules around the base, the way Hoffmann once traced his own.

At the centre sits the whole idea. A perfect square seat. A perfect circle of cushioned leather. Structure and ease, drawn tight enough to feel inevitable.

There's a third influence too. A graphic, confident attitude borrowed from the 1990s. Deep mahogany. Brass, not gold. A cushion in a colour that argues back.

Viennos isn't ancient, and it isn't Viennese. It's both, in one chair.
