MONKEYS SWIFT

We looked at the ancient monkey frescoes of Santorini and found something unexpected. Motion. Rhythm. A sense of play that has survived three and a half thousand years.

Monkeys Swift takes those figures and gives them new energy, borrowed from the Streamline era and its obsession with speed, curve and momentum. Ancient outlines redrawn as sweeping, aerodynamic forms. Figures that once leapt across a Minoan wall now leap across the floor.

Our colour palette carries the story forward. Deep reds and blues drawn from the original frescoes, set against the confident optimism of mid century design.

This is history, kept loose. Not a copy of the past, but a conversation with it. Toes in the ancient Mediterranean, eyes on the room you are standing in.

Textiles can be more than soft underfoot. Woven well, they carry a little wonder into everyday life.
